Gary Founder

Gary, an experienced angel investor, has been active in the investment industry for 10 years since 2014. With a background at Morgan Stanley and as an early backer of next-generation blockchain protocols since 2014, he has been involved in over 300 investments primarily in seed and Series A, with a substantial track record of success. Notably, he has been associated with around 20 unicorns and over 35 companies with a valuation higher than $100 million, including EOS, Bitfund, Helium, DFINITY, and NuCypher. His successful investments span across various sectors, including Generative AI, Consumer, SaaS, and Frontier tech. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in expanding business operations in the UAE and establishing Pinnacle Capital Family Office in partnership with UAE Highness Foundation to facilitate investments and exploration in the web3 space.

Daniel Shin Partner

Daniel Shin, CEO and co-founder of Orca Associates. Managing Director, Asia, CoinTR PRO.​ He graduated from China University of Political Science and Law, majoring in International Economic Law. He worked as a Korean-Chinese business consultant. In 2018, he served as Senior Marketing Manager at Huobi and was involved in the overall marketing, planning and operation of Huobi Global and the overall management of the Korean market. In 2020, he joined DFG as head of the Korean market. He is also the VP and Head of Korea for Ethereum Classic Fund ETC labs. He later served as vice chairman of GDA, a blockchain business specialized company jointly invested by seven domestic listed companies, and launched Orca Associates, an accelerator composed of experts in blockchain, finance, law, marketing and other fields, in October 2022.
